High Quality Antique German Violin is being saleed off to the highest buyer Regardless of price!The violin is suited for a professional or soloist player, The violin is in great condition for it\'s old age and comes in an old Heinrich Roth violin case for protection. I have a short video of the violin being played and I will be happy to send it to you upon request. The violin is made of a beautiful holographic flamed maple wood back, neck and scroll. The top is a straight, finely grained spruce wood. The purfling is professionally executed and the inside workmanship is fine too! All four corners are nicely blocked and reinforced by lining strips of wood. Quality golden orange-brown varnish makes the violin attractive at first glance and touch. The violin comes with a chin rest, I took it off for picture purposes.The violin bear an old inside label that reads:

Dresden, Fecit anno 1896The Measurements are:The back of the violin from top to bottom not including the neck is: 14 - 1/16\" inchesTop bout : 6 - 9/16\" inches Bottom bout: 8 - 5/8\" inches on the dotLuckily the violin has never had any major cracks or repairs. It\'s been well kept in good state of preservation for it\'s age. No sound sound post cracks, no bass bar crack and the back of the violin is clean as s whistle. The neck and scroll are in tip top shape with no repairs. With only a 1inch -3/8th\" crack on the top bout, bass side running down in need of repair, see picture. There is also cosmetic wear, nicks & scratches typical of violin of this age of no consequence, which will not affect the soaring tone on this violin. The violin plays beautifully as is.
