Openingto a Glass Ink Well, that has small chips all around its rim, and so is ostensibly

the original glass well

Ostensibly Datesto the Last Quarter of the 19th Century

The outside leather casing bears the gilded engraved word \"Ink\"

I acquired it at a bona fide English sale house as being a Gilted Interior

Heightapprox. 4 cm or 1 5/8\"

Round-shaped, diameter approx. 5 cm or almost 2\"

The leather is generally holding well, though some peeling on top part, especially at back
