A beautiful late Victorian or early Edwardian Writing Slope, or Writing Box, hence late 1800s to very early 1900s, in rosewood and banded with true ebony. It has been completely restored, with new velvet to the interior. Comes with its original inkwells and a bone letter opener. I\'ve added an antique pair of spectacles from the 1930s that belonged to my mother, who also gave me the box.
The box measures 9 1/4\" x 14\" x 5 1/2\". Any spots or reflections on the box are from the camera. It is perfect.
