Rare Danish pitcher made between Circa 1810 Grape leaf & shield No monogram with Gold wash interior

Presented is a rare Danish pitcher made between 1787 and 1823. This is a finely crafted early item with a band of engraved ivy foliage and shields around the side. Made In Copenhagen Denmark. It is in beautiful condition for its age with no dents, dings or monogram and has only some light scratches from gentle use and care. I have decided to preserve some of the patina of this item and therefore, It can perhaps use a bit more polish. From my research of the hallmarks the latest this item could have been made was 1823 and as early as1787. Silver marked and made in Denmark at this time is 826 fine sterling silver is 925 so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. The item is hand engraved . Over 160 years old and ready to be used!!!

I have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other sales.

Measure: 5 ¼” inches tall to top of handle x 5 ¼” inches across x 2 5/8”

Marked: Complete Danish hallmarks for solid silver of 826 finess made in Copenhagen warden mark of Fredrich Fabricius

Condition: no dents, no dings, no monogram some light scratches from gentle use could use a bit more polishing.
