Fine Early 19thC Antique Chinese Silver Covered Cup Stand w/ Jade Bead Finial!

This wonderful antique Chinese covered cup stand is made of solid silver and is decorated with relief symbols around the interior of the rim. It also has relief designs on the sides of the base, as well as around the lid, with the lid having a jade bead finial. It is unmarked, however tests solid silver and weighs 244 grams or 7.84 troy ounces. It dates from the late 18th to the early 19th Century and the base measures approximately 2 + ¾ inches tall to the top of the rim by 5 inches across the rim. The cover measures 2 + 3/8 inches tall to the top of the finial by 4 + ½ inches across. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a chip on the jade finial, as can be seen in the photo.
