This ring is so amazing.....

The quality of the Polychrome enamel is very fine. The ring features a fabulous angel portrait resting on a Crescent in the clouds which is adorned with tiny silver seed pearls (pearls in excellent condition). The details in the portrait depict a sweet gazing angel with multi colored wings. The eyes on the angel are very fine with amazing detail down to the pupils, you can see tiny individual hairs which for the eyebrows and sweet fine locks of Curley hair. Amazing.....

The shank is constructed of Sterling silver, not marked but tested. The enamel is resting on a lovely plateau with fine details around the open work rim. It is reinforced on the back of the face by the shank on two sides and is also attached in the center. The way that this ring is made it will not turn on your finger when properly fitted and worn.

This ring dates from 1900\'s or earlier. I believe it is European but with out the hallmarks I can not decipher the reign. The condition of this ring is amazing, with no chips or cracks to the enamel. There are a couple of minor surface scratches that you can only see if you were looking at an angle with reflective light. A very rare and wonderful ring.
