Here we have aquite exceptionaland quite lovelysolid gauge and weight for its size.Hallmarksare deep and clear.Fully marked toside ofbodyand tolid.

Assayed inChester anddated 1958 (year letter H).Makersaretop makersLOWE & SONS.

This assay office closed in 1962.

LOWE still have a shop in Chester to this day-it is located in Bridge Street Row.

This lovely item is in itself awonderfulpiece of grandElizabeth II silver.

Thediameter of the pot isquitelareg at9.25 inches and its height4.75 inches. quality andis a mostdelightfulpiece oftable silver.

It isunengravedand always has been(refer to images).

grams (19.10 troy ounces) and the overall condition isvery good indeed.There is no way that i could merit scrapping it despite the high metal price and it still has plenty of life left in it yet.All it needs is to be used!

One of the nicest pots i have had in a long,long time.

All in all areally good antiquelarge sized pot to grace any home.

Its capacity is 1.5 pints.
