A fine old Northwest Coast Haida or Tlingit Indian hand carved and painted cedar totem pole dating from the early 1900\'s. The totem features great well carved imagery featuring a bear with extended tongue and long fingers, with a human face peering out through a wolf\'s ears. Painted in nice old original pigments of red, black and green. The totem stands 13 1/2\" tall x 4\" x 2 1/2 \" including the base. 12 1/4\" Tall without. The totem is in good condition with one chip noted to the top edge of one ear and later replacement base noted, otherwise just a nice patina from age and handling. The totem makes an impressive display itemand a fine addition to anyone\'s collection. Please add $9.95 for careful shipping and insurance (USA). , so have fun offerding!
