A fine old Northwest Coast hand carved and painted bone totem pole dating from the very early 1900\'s The totem is a model of the famous Kwakiutl totem pole carved by Charlie James that stood in Alert Bay. The totem features a winged Thunderbird with a bear holding a human captive at the bottom. The totem stands 4 1/2\" tall with a 3 3/4\" wingspan and is in excellent condition for its age with nice bright original paints. The totem makes an impressive display itemand a fine addition to anyone\'s collection. Please add $5.95 for careful shipping and insurance (USA). , so have fun offerding!
