I bred OES\'s for 20 years and showed many to championships. This is a very correct dog and about the size of an 8 month old puppy. He comes from a very nice estate in Scottsdale and was on display so he\'s in very good condition. I find no issues with this dog or smell. He\'s sitting and has enough coat to cover his eyes or not as you can see in the picture. People often think the dogs cannot see but the reason they have hair covering their eyes is that they worked at night guarding the sheep against predators while the Shepherd slept. They have great night vision but the hair protects them in the light of the day. I used to shave mine down for the summer because the coats are so heavy to keep them warm or insulated in the bright sun. This dog is 30\" long, 24\" tall and 12\" wide. The OES is a kind, funny dog who is very tolerant and he doesn\'t start any trouble. But if a predator comes after his sheep he is the great protector taking on coyotes, wolves or even bear. They are great dogs. This dog has perfect markings for a show dog with a white head and shawl to his shoulders and the gray behind. This could be your new best
