Superbly crafted by Whiting ca-1890, this fine tankard displays superior period design and craftsmanship. It is in great estate condition with only some slight indications of its more than century of existence and loving enjoyment. It features fine patina having never been machine buffed. There is great quality here!! It is lightly inscribed as shown, but this could easily be removed if so desired. It meas. 2 7/8\" across the top by 3 3/8\" tall and 4 1/2\" across the handle. It has a very substantial, solid weight of 148+ grams of precious sterling silver.
