This sale is for a beautiful vintage sterling silver Native American bear pin/pendant with 3 lovely large greenish turquoise stones hand crafted by renowned Navajo artisan Albert Cleveland. Albert Cleveland\'s older work is well known and sought after. His beautiful jewelry made with traditional Navajo silversmith techniques and his father\'s tools. This vintage bear pin & pendant is a great example of Cleveland\'s older work. The bear is covered all over with wonderful hand stampings, applied silver and three beautiful, large green turquoise stones in the center. There is a nice patina on the pin which shows the beautiful silver work quite well.
The pin clasp on the back of the pin/pendant is in working condition and holds securely. The hook for the pendant will accommodate narrow chain necklaces. I have never tried to slip the hook over a beaded necklace because the hook is fairly tight. When I wore the bear as a pendant, I sometimes wore a turquoise necklace for a layered look. There are a few light surface scratches on the pin as expected in pre-owned jewelry. The pin is in excellent pre-owned condition. The pin/pendant is marked \"AC\" and \"sterling\" on the back. The

The bear pin/pendant is a very traditional Navajo design with beautiful silver work and three larger, beautiful turquoise. This vintage Albert Cleveland pin/pendant would be a great addition to any Native American jewelry collection. The piece is a substantial size and nice weight.
