Offered for your consideration is a fine pair of vintage Wiss CB-7 7\" pinking shears. Wiss was started in 1848 and remains one of the world\'s most respected brands of scissors. This pair dates to the early-mid 1960\'s and the shears are exceptionally nice.
Though I listed these as \"Used\", the shears show no visible signs of use and remain in excellent condition with just a touch of light storage wear as shown. The come in their original packaging which states that the resharpening price is valid through December 31, 1966. The shears have not been buffed or polished and remain completely original.
The shears were beautifully crafted and offer full measures of the excellent quality and performance that built Wiss\' fine reputation. They remain very solid andtight with a verysturdy feel in the hand. The blades are free of any corrosion or pitting with no staining or discoloration either. The blades have not been sharpened and retain their original factory edge with no grind marks or sharpening abrasions. The edges are free of any nicks, chips, dings, or damage and remain very sharp with no wear at all. The shears cut beautifully and they\'re ready for immediate use. They have a smooth and clean cutting action with no looseness or wobble. The pivot retainer ring is the original andshows no signs of stripping or past adjustment with no marring or damage. The black handle finish is intact with the only wear at the contact point between the two handles.
The shears actually measure just over 7-1/2\" in overall length in the closed position.
