♥ ♥ This lovely antique, porcelain bisque, boudoir, Art Nouveau style, half doll figurine is incised on her back for the German foundry of its maker: 47 B-8/o , c.1890, measures 3 1/2\" tall and is in excellent condition. She represents the popularity of the period when these lovely lady figures were used to decorate vanity items in ladies bedrooms. She has a beautiful face, framed with beautifully molded, flowing blond hair with center-part, large curls over each ear and around her long graceful neck, molded blue ribbon and loosely woven bun at the top of her head. She has beautiful intaglio painted blue eyes with finely molded eyelids, double lid lines, nose, chin, parted lips and blushed cheeks. She has two small half holes (or nicks?) below her waist for mounting on a pincushion, powder puff or other vanity accessory. She has no other damages or repairs, no cracks and no hairlines. What a stunning gift for birthday or anniversary she would make. Other items shown in last photos are not included and will each be listed separately.
