Interesting group of 5 medals: 1914/15 star, British War Medal, Victory medal, WW2 Defence Medal and Special Constabulary medal.

First World War medals awarded to: 1843 CPL. A. C. MILES 6-LOND. R.

Defence medal unnamed, constabulary medal named to Arthur C. Miles.

All the medals are in excellency condition- please see photos. Group is swing mounted as worn, with original ribbons.

Corporal Miles saw action with the 6th London regiment - the cast iron sixth or the City of London Rifles. He entered France with the Battalion on 17th March and would have seen action at Loos, Festubert, and the Somme. He appears to have not been wounded and was discharged in 1919.

A very nice group worthy of further research.
