Wonderful, whimsical cookie jar by Department 56 in the shape of a fishing creel. The handles are a trout head and tail. On the front is a raised fly and frog.In excellent vintage condition. There is no crazing. There are a few small glaze flakes off of the finish, a few flea bites on the inner rim and one very small ding on the bottom right corner rim that can\'t be seen unless flipped over.On the bottom, the Dept 56 label is still attached indicating Made in Japan and there is also an impression reading LAKE, Dept 56.Measures: 10\" long x 7-1/4\" wide x 6\" high.Great to put in your kitchen, cabin or for a Father\'s Day gift.
