7 inches X 7/8\" wood, probably beech, appears hand made due to irregularities.
Used to repair nets, these are still sold today, but in plastic and aluminum.
This item was in a bag of net and sail repair items that I hadn\'t opened since at least the 60\'s, and most likely hadn\'t been used since long before that.
It was wrapped with net twine, which I removed to show the shuttle, but the twine will be included when shipped.
