This Singer Foot Pedal is the wide type found on the later model Singer machines,

but is equipped with an Original Bakelite plug that will fit your Featherweight 221 or 222

This is a Singer \"resistance\" type controller and will work on your Featherweight 221 or 222.

There are Electronic (Solid State) controllers that look similar to this, but will not work on the Featherweights.
