A very interesting, important and informative article which provides insight into the development of the Rugby Union and Association football games from the point of view of a man who was heavily involved in the attempt to unify the games. He discusses the various public school and University games and the attempts to bring them all under one code and the failure to get the Rugby camp to agree. The main focus is development of the soccer code but provides some great insights into the failure to unify.
