Up for sale is a completedand handcrafted cross stitch picture from JCA Inc Needlepoint Treasures Collection. It is a lovely scene of three geese brousing in front of a fenced garden.Portions of the design were printed in full color on polyester #14 aida cloth.It is then embellished with cross stitches. There are cross stitches of the three geese.It gives a 3D look as thegeesepop from the muted scene.

I don\'t know who the designer is as I have not found another kit on the internet for this. The size is 14 1/2 x 11 1/2. The needlework is mounted onto plywood and is framed. On the back there is a label indicating this was a sales model but there is no model number or name provided. The back is professionally finished with craft paper and is ready to hang.

What makes this so unique is that it was probablythe initial sample which became the photo model used to take a photo which was used on the kits.

This picture was a hand crafted model to a needpoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished or used as a salesmen\'s sample. I was able to acquire many of these samples. See other listings.

I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
