Up for sale is a completed, handcraftedvintagecross stitchcolorart picture.

It is part of the JCA Needle Treasures Collection. Have not found this particular kit anywhere on the internet and since the company is no longer manufacturing these kits, finding this in the future is rather slim.

With colorart, the picture is printed in color on to aida fabric and then portions of the picture are enhanced with embroidery. This picture has cross stitch embroidery. The areas embroidered are the parent Canada geese and some grass in the foreground. It is just stunning and the geese really pop out of the picture.

This particular print is adapted from art work. There is a signature at the bottom left but I can\'t read the name.

The size is 24 1/2 x 14 1/2. The fabric is stretched and mounted onto plywood and it has a nice tan double mat and nice light wooden frame. The back is professionally finished with craft paper. It is ready to hang.

The picture was a hand crafted model to a needpoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic when displayed to protect the picture and still is. I was able to acquire quite a few of the completed embroidery produced by this company. See my other listings.

I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
