Up for sale is a completed, hand crafted, and framed Needlepoint Picture from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection designed by Nancy Bombard. It is just charming. On the back there is a label indicating that this was the photo model for kit #06720.

That is what makes this so unique in that it was the first hand crafted sample that was used as a photo model for the pictures that went on to the kit packaging. Included in the listing is a picture of a kit for this and to think that thisneedlepoint is the actual model used for the photo on the packaging. How unique is that!

The size is 13 1/2 x 10. It has a nice double mat with beige on the outside and sage green on the inside.The back is professionally finished with craft paper. It has a nice wooden frame.

I do have another similar pull toy for sale of a lamb. Please look for that listing as the two of them would be great hanging together.

This picture was a hand crafted model to a needpoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It was covered in plastic to protect the needlepoint which I removed to take the photo. I was able to acquire quite a few of them; some were just matted and others framed.

I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
