Up for sale is a hand crafted needlepoint from JCA Needle Treasures Animal Collection adapted from a design by Lynn Bean.It is a charming Mallard Duck sitting on the next. He is just adorable. He is done in needlepoint on a natural mesh backing. The kit number is 06716. Only the duck and grasses are done in embroidery. The background is not done but is left natural mesh.He is stretched and stapled onto plywood backing. He measures8 x 6and has a nice wood frame. You can also remove him from the frame and backing and attach to larger frame and add a mat is you wish.I do have two other needlepoint which is similar in how it is constructed which is of a koala bear. You might want to check that listing as thethree of them hung together in a grouping would look great.Included in this listing is a picture of a kit for this needlepoint which is shown for reference only. In that picture it shows how this would look if it was mounted on to a larger backing and has a mat. That certainly would be an option as it looks great with the mat.
