An excellent impression expertly printed in black and brown ink on natural Guarro framed under plexiglass in a bronze metal frame with the print float mounted against a brown linen backing mat.

Description
La Abuela (The Grandmother) is a powerful, striking work by the master Mexican artist Francisco Zuniga who presented the common people of his adopted country with dignity and respect. Here two generations - the grandmother and the son or grandson - are placed side by side. The contrasts are obvious. The woman appears old and vulnerable while the man is somewhat closed and distant. The draftsmanship in this original lithograph is outstanding with a sure steady line that almost has a three dimensional effect. This large print definitely has the \"wow\" factor from its composition and printing to the elegant framing. This work came from the Elaine Horwitch Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona which in the 1970s and 1980s was a prominent fine art gallery for contemporary artists.Shipping
