This beautiful Frank M. Whiting Footed Sterling Silver Bowl is marked “Black, Starr & Frost, Sterling, 310-54” as well as with the makers hallmark. This bowl has a diameter of 9.75 inches, is 3 5/8 tall, and weighs 418 grams. Black, Starr & Frost is America’s first jeweler and been in business since 1810. The Frank M. Whiting company existed between 1878 and 1940. Given light scratches and a pinpoint dent in the bottom this bowl is in very good condition.
