Franklin Delano Roosevelt typed and signed letter dated April 28, 1932 while he was Governor of New York and written on State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead.

The letter is overall in very good condition, the letter is toned, but no creasing or tears or any damage of note (see pics). The letter is mounted to heavy card stock from what I believe was from a previous framing. Signature is clear and displays very well.

Will be sent in plastic protective sleeve.

The letter thanks Judge William H. Barker of Boston, Massachusetts for sending him a copy of the \"Massachusetts Roosevelt song of which my son has spoken\" and thanks him for for his support in the \"Bay State\" in what at the time was Roosevelt\'s first run for president.

This is one of the more personal and endearing Roosevelt letters I\'ve seen and really shows some insight into his personality.

Less than a year later Roosevelt would begin serving as the 32nd President of the United States, where he served longer than any other man (1933-1945).

Letter measures approximately 8\" x 10\".
