Up for sale is a 1973 Franklin Mint "Ruffed Grouse" Audubon Society Solid Sterling Silver Collector Plate by James Fenwick Lansdowne,4th in a series of 4 plates. This plate is numbered 1601. Includes the plate, plate folder, certificate of authenticity, and box. This plate is new and has not been opened. It has minor oxidation along the rim. During this era, The Franklin Mint produced some of the finest collectibles ever made. Made in USA collectibles are probably going to never exist again. These plates were produced in Franklin Mint's coin production facility using a unique etching method. A minted proof medal on the reverse of each plate bears the title, hallmark, and serial number.
