Franklin Mint American Heritage Medallic History of the Civil War 50pc Set:
$1600.00
The Franklin Mint American Heritage Medallic History of the Civil War was produced and sold between 1980 and 1985. This is the complete Gold-plated Sterling Silver set of 50 medals in the original leather binder; one of 1000 sets minted. From the Attack on Fort Sumter in 1861 to the re-raising of the Colors at the fort in 1865, each medal depicts a pivotal moment of the War Between the States. Each medal (currently offered individually or $40+ online) originally sold for ~$30 and all are still encased in their original plastic casing and in MINT CONDITION.Collected in the '80's by my father and kept in pristine condition.Note--though I look like a first time seller on the site it is because I stopped selling a few years back and disabled my sign-on after having sold many other pieces of Civil War memorabilia from his collection.
