Lovely limited edition mahogany clock issued by Franklin Mint back in 1979. The solid brass face is etched and has a satin finish. Below is a depiction of the Old Berkshire Hunt, handscreened on glass. Absolutely mint condition! Like many other items my aunt purchased, it went into storage and was never used. Does not include original packing, however when I recently unpacked it and wound it to test it, most likely for the first time, it keeps perfect time! Beautiful chime strikes on the hour and also half hour. The case is all mahogany, meticulously fitted and can stand on a mantel or shelf or be wall mounted if you choose. The eight day brass movement is crafted by the noted clockmakers of Hermle, (West Germany). The movement is key wound. Includes COA and all accompanying paperwork regarding care. The clock measures 20\"tall with a base size of 11 1/4\" x 5 1/2 deep. When this clock was issued, it cost $475! A quality item I would keep myself except I already have a mantel clock I love.
