Up for offer is a Franklin Mint House of Faberge \'A King is Born\' Limited Ed. # 1856 Collector Egg this was my Mother\' s and it is time to sell it . The Egg is is very nice condition withNo Cracks, No Chips, No Nicks. I do not know if the cross on top is suppose to be like that or not . I have check other on and some are bent like this and others are not so really do not know so starting offerding out at lower than others on The main color is Cobalt, cast of 22K Gold Finished bronze and porcelain. The hinged doors open to reveal hand painted figures of Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus. This egg is an adaption of an original design by Peter Carl Faberge and commissioned by Czar Nicolai II
The egg measures 6 1/2 in height from the bottom of the base to the top of the filigree. The base is 3\" in diameter and the egg is 3\" in diameter.
