This lovely outfit is a Franklin Mint issued Vive Jacqui! ensemble for the Jackie Kennedy doll 16\"
It includes the COMPLETE ensemble in it\'s original box ONLY, not the doll.
It is new a in it\'s original box and has never been removed
It was adult owned only.
I purchased it along with several other dolls and outfits from the estate of a collector.
The outfit and accessories are in new condition, the box has some wear from storage.
This outfit ensemble has been re-created by the Franklin Mint and authenticated by Oleg Cassini.
The ensemble includes: Oleg Cassini Yellow suit and matching hat, White gloves, Taupe handbag, Beige heeled pumps, Pearl studded gold earrings
The Franklin Mint made this ensemble suit and matching hat from yellow peau de soie (Duchess satin) and the skirt from lightweight taffeta.
The gloves are white tricot knit satin
In May 1961, President Kennedy and the First Lady visited France. When the Kennedys arrived in Paris they were greeted by a 101 gun salute and large crowds lining the streets yelling \"Jacqui!\". The First Lady immediately won over the French people. Her Oleg Cassini designed wardrobe was the epitome of style, grace and sophistication.
Jackie wore a beautiful Oleg Cassini designed suit of jonquil yellow at the state luncheon with President and Madame DeGaulle that reflected the brightness that Jackie brought to the City of Light. The jacket featured an asymmetrical side-button closing with a wide welt seam and the skirt flared slightly at the hem into an A-line. The hat was crafted of matching fabric and was worn at the back of the head.
This Vive Jacqui ensemble is a magnificent re-creation, an exact replica of the sophisticated ensemble Jackie wore during this historic trip and a special tribute to the world’s most unforgettable First Lady.
