This sale is for The Official Star Trek Insignia Collection in Silver and Gold issued by the Franklin Mint. It is an official collection of twelve insignias and symbols that have appeared on the Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine television shows. Each insignia is minted in solid Sterling silver and either selectively or entirely electroplated in gold.

The following insignias are included: U.S.S. Enterprise Command Insignia, Starfleet Flag Admiral, United Federation of Planets Pennant, Romulan Bird of Prey, United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire Insignia, Captain\'s Bar, Vulcan Idic, Commander Pin, Ferengi Insignia, Starfleet Officer\'s Bar, and Star Trek: The Next Generation Communicator.

The insignias are set into their own labeled recessed openings in a wooden display case (measuring approximately 21.5 inches high by 16.5 inches wide by 2 inches deep)that hasa hinged glass frontthat is kept shut by means of a magnetic closure.This display case can be hung on a wall or displayed flat.

One ofthe insignia labels is missing (the one for the \"United Federation ofPlanets\"), and there are some minor cosmetic defects that affect the case but not the collectible insignias. It is still an attractive display item. The set is accompanied by theFranklin Mint Certificate of Authenticity, which, unfortunately, has a tear about 1.25 incheslong coming up from the bottom about 1/2 inchfrom the right side.
