As the 20th anniversary of her untimely death occurred this year, you can see the lasting impact of Diana\'s service to others all around the world. For everyone who remembers her, as well as younger people who know her as a historic figure, Princess Diana\'s legacy lives on. Known as the \"People\'s Princess\", those of us who lived during her lifetime will also remember her as the \"Queen of People\'s Hearts.

This doll is wearing a replica of a Catherine Walker design gown of black velvet, sparkling trimmed gown Diana wore to an event at the Versailles Palace in 1994 (photo #2 shows her at the event). The doll wears 2 faux sapphire and faux diamond bracelets and the pearl drop earrings Diana favored so many times. (The pictures show the doll you are offerding on and my own doll, to let you see the side and back details. THIS sale IS FOR THE DOLL IN THE BOX ONLY)

This gown was lot #66 at the Christie\'s sale of Diana\'s dresses.

The Franklin Mint discontinued production of all Portrait dolls and clothing for the dolls several years ago, unfortunately for those of us who are doll collectors, it\'s making it more and more difficult to find their high quality dolls.
