This Sterling Medal was the 96th in the Series of 100 medals, which were only sold as a set, from 1973 to 1977 and mintage of only 4000. This sale is for One Medal with Acrylic Holder and corresponding paperwork.
Total weight is 1.25 oz, Size is 45mm. This was not available for single sale by the Franklin Mint. The rim of the medal is stamped \"Franklin Mint History of Flight\" and \"Sterling\".
This medal depicts the Super Guppy - The Super sized Cargo Plane. The corresponding paperwork explains the history. It\'s a stunningly detailed medal and a great addition to your aviation history collection.
