This a wonderful limited edition musical Franklin Mint Carousel. The Faberge Imperial Carousel Egg limited edition of only 9500 ofthem. This particular egg is marked with the number #1 and was put there by the original owner. Is it the first one of the 9500? I don\'t know, but I guess it could be.
The carousel is porcelain with 24K gold accents and Austrian crystals. The music it plays is called \"The Emperor\'s Waltz\". To watch it go around, turn the top and the music plays and the horses will move around the carousel. Please Note:The horses were designed tomove around, not up and down. This georgeous piece measures approx 11\" high and has a diameter of almost 5\".
This grand collector\'s carousel is in great condition. There are no cracks or breaks, however, when it turns around, it rubs on one side a bit but all the crystals are intact and sparkle beautifully. The music works as does the carousel but, it usuallyneeds a slight nudge to get it to completely rotate. Please keep this in mind and don\'t over-wind it. I do not have the original box or any paperwork that it might have come with, but it will arrive safely.
