Inspirational in spirit it helped the soldiers cope with the hardships of war and being away from home. The publisher made available a special edition of this book in 1944 during World War II. It then became a part of the series of books from: THE FIGHTING FORCES INFANTRY JOURNAL. It is a First Edition in that series.
