This is a beautiful work of art! The craftsmanship and detail aren\'t justified by these photos. This is a combination of
1) 32nd degree Scottish Rite: indicated by the 32, double headed eagle and perfect elu2) Knights Templar: indicated by cross in crown and words \"In Hoc Signo Vinces\"3) Royal Arch: Indicated with the keystone inside and the letters surrounding it.
This pendant weighs a hefty 10.8 grams!I took this piece to 2 different jewelers to acid test it. The gold remained when tested for 10K. When we tested it for 14K, the gold dimmed but did not disappear. The conclusion from both jewelers is that it may very well be 12K. Since we do not use 12K in this country, I cannot conclude this with certainty as no one has 12K acid. If it was clearly not 14K, the gold would have disappeared but it did not. So they both said that it\'s definitely at least 10K, but its a little less than 14K, so it appears to be 12K.
So I would safely say it is 12K. None of these antique pieces are ever stamped so that is not the issue. All of these that were made don\'t have any 10, 12, 14K stamps from all the ones I have ever seen.
Also, the stone is Onyx as well on the Knights Templar side of the pendant.
