Original 19th century French St.Etienne bayonet/sword w/scabbard. Sword numbered T67786 is with scabbard 28\" overall. The blade is 22\". the top of blade is inscribed 1870. This style bayonet/sword was originally issued to troops in 1866. For the vintage this blade is in exceptionally good condition. Many of this era have heavy discoloration.
