French Antique Easel-Back Brass &Beveled Glass Nap III Photo Frame

A tallish vertical brass & beveled glass photo frame fromthe Napoleon III period – the 1880’ -1900’s – with an ormolu bow on the top andstanding on two ball feet.

The photograph is held in place by a spring mechanism on theback that works well and holds it snugly. There is a small brass ring to attachthe frame to the wall.

The ormolu bow is full brass in the back, indicatinghigh-quality manufacturing. The glass measures 4 3/8 inches by 6 ¾ inches andis in good condition with tiny nibbles on three corners, not really visiblewith a photograph in place.

The entire frame measures 8 1/8 inches tall, from the ball feetto the top of the bow.

Included is a period photograph.
