A beautiful French Art Deco artisanal hand made model of a Consolidated Catalina PBY dating from the 1940\'s
Fuselage carved from a solid piece of highly figured Rio Rosewood with wings of chrome plated brass and finishing details in polished aluminium with brushed Lucite propellers
Mounted on a Cement base which has been sculpted to look like a rock, it swivels on the upright so is slightly poseable
In super condition all round with some age related losses and tarnishing to the chrome plating
Sorry if shipping seems high but the base is very heavy
