StunningFrench Art Deco Modernist Brass, Glass & Mirror Tray Biscuit/Tea Cakes Box

A beautifully designedclassical Art Deco glass box used to present cookies or tea cakes or biscuitswith a brass lid, on a mirror tray with brass handles and frame overlapped withgeometric black metal inserts. It would also be an outstanding item on a dressing table or even on a desk.

The glass box is flutedon the sides as well as on the bottom which is unusual and contains numeroustiny glass bubbles. It is in flawless condition - no chips, no cracks, nofissures. The mirror is in excellent condition - no scratches, nodiscoloration.

Overall this lovelytypical Art Deco ensemble is in very good condition with some minor wear andscratches on the brass edging of the tray where the box has been lifted out andput back but it is minor and to be expected in such a vintage piece.

It measures 9 incheswide, 6 1/8 inches deep and 5 inches high to the top of the handle. It weighs1.9 kgs - 2 lbs.

It is truly anexceptionally designed piece.

I try to use the mosteconomic rate which is International Small Packages + a Tracking number butitems over 2kgs and large packages must be sent registered service which is slightlymore expensive. If there is a differencebetween what you paid as postage costs and the actual costs converted into USD,I will refund you the difference.

Returns

Returns are accepted if the description wasdeficient. If there is a problem, please send me an email within 14 days ofreceipt of the item, explaining the situation and I will reply as quickly aspossible. The item must be sent back in the original condition it was receivedand in the same packaging.
