Description:
A gorgeous statue cast in solid bronze of an Art Deco dancer in mid flight with grasping a pair of discs, cymbals .
Abeautiful well defined sculpture with beautiful original verdigris patina that modern replicas fail to achieve properly.
Marcel Bourain 1886-1948 was a well known sculptor who used to sign his staues with the pseudonym Derenne.
This solid bronze is mounted on a stepped black marble plinth.
There are NO signatures or foundry marks apparent to date this by hence assume it comes fromFrance and is 20th century
