Certainly 40 years old plus

This beautiful shawl was in my friend\'s aunt\'s trunk along with several older piano shawls

Machine loomed, bought in France and probably French this has silvergrey silk floral repeat on a black ground

The fringe is machine stitched with a zig zag stitch

Measures 48 x 48 inches without fringe

77 inches x 77 inches with fringe

In immaculate condition - no snags, holes or stains

Absolutely beautiful shawl - perfect for a wedding, or Art Deco themed event
