French Dragoonsword model of 1780. In use in the cavalry at the end of the 18thcentury and still in use during the first decade of the 19thcentury. Blade and handle in very nice condition no play no move. No makersmarking. A light patina on the outstanding plain blade. Size is 98cm overalland 83 cm for the blade. Ancient leather scabbard with its 3 brass fittings.One crack on the edge of the leather part (can be seen on the pictures). Niceand rare sword in this condition.

Ensemble en bonétat Pas de jeu sur la garde ou la poignée. Longueur totale 98 cm. Lame 83cm.Fourreau cuir ancien avec 3 garnitures laiton. une déchirure sur le cuir entrela deuxième garniture et la bouterolle, Visible sur photo.
