French sterling silver and blue enamel box:

Offered for sale a sterling silver and light blue enamel, round box made in France in the second half of the 19th century. The hinged cover is inset with a painted plaque depicting a bouquet of wild flowers. The box is 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick. Total weight 238 grams. Bottom has engine turned decoration and the box is silver gilt . Hallmarked on edge under the lid with French marks. Condition is very good.
