This is a set of seven offering bowls, or tings,as they are called in the local language of Nepal.The seven bowls are traditionally filled each morning,and the offerings are removed at sunset. The act ofoffering with a sincere heart helps to strengthen our commitment to the Buddha\'s teachings, and to destroy feelings of greed and miserliness.
There are seven traditional offering substances: waterfor drinking, water for bathing, flowers, incense, light,perfume, and food. Seven bowls of water are often used to represent the seven substances, with the water visualizedas pure nectar that delights the Buddhas. This beautifulpractice, undertaken with a pure intention, creates a vastamount of merit and makes our mind very strong.

There is no fee for consecration, but if you would like to make the customarydonation to the Lama for his time and services he will be happy to accept anyamount offered to him.

ShippingEach order is shipped directly from the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. We make every effort to pack and ship within 48 hours of receiving your payment. Special services such as Consecration and Silk Brocade require a few extra days ofhandling time depending on the availability of the Lama and the amount ofbroade work to be done.
Your items will be packed with the utmost care and then shipped to you anywhere in the world by DHL Express. We will send you a tracking number and you can track your package on the DHL website. The expected delivery time for DHL is 3 to 5 business days worldwide.
Full insurance is always included on every order. Please note thatsomeone will need to sign for your package when it arrives. Also please let us know your phone number when you place your order. DHL requires a phone number for the package recipient in case there are any problems with the delivery.
All of our shipping fees are based on weight. We are always happy to combine shipping for any of our items.
