This is possibly the most interesting coin I own at this time, and I have many coins. The group known as the Free Masons, and many a theory associated with them, is all over the Net these days! They are blamed for many of the problems in the world today! In fact, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and a few other historic individuals, that signed the Constitution when it was drafted back in 1776 were Free Masons! This coin was circulating around that time at the end of the 18th century, and quite possibly, it passed through the hands of some very interesting individuals! THIS COIN\'s HISTORY IS REALLY INTERESTING, and so much is connected with the ideas and principles that are noted on the coin itself, which is rich in symbolism!

One of the photos Included show the coin surfaces as lighter than it actually is, because the added light makes all the details clearly visible. It has a chocolate kind of patina, and a lovely coin at that! It is in excellent condition, as the NGC Grade suggests!
