\"Village House\" Ornament G. DeBrekht Studios Derevo Fairytale Village Series Limited Edition / 1200 pcs. SIZE: 5 inches high & 3 inches wide Introduced in 2001 * Retired in 2002 Stock Number: #53911 This rare G. DeBrekht ornament features a Russian Village House, all hand painted and hand crafted. On the bottom of the ornament is an opening where you put two triple-A batteries. Light will then show thru the windows of the house. There is not a cover on the bottom where the batteries go - it was made that way. In the early days of the DeBrekht items, many of them were hand numbered on the bottom. They did not have a printed description. The owner of the DeBrekht company, Andre Gabricht, has signed the bottom. Since it is rare to find DeBrekht pieces signed by the Designer, Andrej Gabricht, we think this ornament is a terrific value for any collection.

This ornament is in perfect condition, from store inventory, and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a small numbered hang tag. G. DeBrekht Artistic Studios began bringing hand-made treasures to the world in the mid 1990s. The Derevo Series - the Russian word for wood - was introduced in 2000. All of the exquisite designs in this series are made in a special blend of wood-based resin material. Each Derevo piece is cast from an original mould of a hand carved item. Each one is hand-painted in a free hand style - so each is different and unique! If you collect any of the DeBrekht Russian designs, this is a great addition to a collection. NOTE: Batteries are NOT included.
