Description

The T-41 1862 $100 Confederate note was printed by Keating & Ball, Columbia, SC on white paper with a blank reverse. The central vignette depicts slaves hoeing cotton which coined the nickname \'Hoers\' for these notes. John C. Calhoun the father of states right is to the lower left. These notes paid 7.3% interest and many have interest paid stamps on the reverse. These interest paid stamps come in a variety of colors and different locations and are well collected. This T-41 is a stunning gem with bright paper and fully framed margins!
