viewing highly recommended on this very fine quality seated figure, info welcome on possible age and origin, i would guess chinese and possibly from the 1600-1700s, its a heavy figure weighing about 2.3kg, also a good size measuring about 20cm high, 13cm across the base, photos dont do it any justice, slight wear in places such as the nose and ears where it has been handled over the years and a brass colour is showing through the bronze, surely a rare and important example worthy of further research, it should really be in a specialist sale. but as usual im starting at 99p with , please enlarge all 12 photos. im sure it will be a long time before you find another as good as this.
